CMOS SensorThe uEye CP models from IDS now include the IMX226 rolling shutter CMOS sensor from the Sony STARVIS series. The sensor is designed for application fields such as logistics, machine vision, and quality assurance. Available in the GV-5890CP and U3V-3890CP camera models, the sensor provides a high resolution of 12.19 MP (4016 × 3036 pixels) but also light sensitivity and low noise. The STARVIS series back-side-illumination (BSI) technology allows the sensor to achieve perfect results in low-light conditions. The 1/1.7-in. sensor is available in both monochrome and color, and customers can choose between GigE and USB3 interfaces with Vision standard. With the IMX226 rolling shutter CMOS sensor, uEye CP industrial cameras are compact and powerful for industrial applications.
