FARUM, Denmark, Oct. 28, 2014 — The Freedom 100 series of spectrometers from Ibsen Photonics utilizes a new CMOS linear detector.

They are ultracompact, ultrasensitive and more cost-efficient than traditional CCD-based spectrometers. A mirror-grating-mirror design enables a 25 × 48 mm footprint. The Freedom series can be used in the UV, visible and near-infrared.
