CNC Four-Axis Micromachining of OpticsValley Design offers advanced capabilities in four-axis CNC micromachining of precision optics in materials including fused silica, quartz, sapphire, glass, silicon, aluminum nitride, alumina, macor and various metals. Valley is a one-stop shop for CNC machining, precision lapping, polishing and production dicing. Machined features include holes, cavities, pockets, channels, slots, chamfers, radii, steps, complex geometries, tight tolerances and polished surfaces. Parts range from small shims and spacers 0.127 mm square, as thin as 20 µm, to wafers as large as 450 mm.
