PROVIDENCE, R.I., June 7, 2011 — Laser Research Optics, a division of Meller Optics Inc., has introduced OEM-quality field-replacement CO2 laser optics for the low-power lasers used in cutting and engraving plastics. They are available for same-day delivery.

The company’s CO2 laser lenses and mirrors are optimized for use at 10.6 µm and meet OEM and ISO-10110 specifications for optical elements. Available for Cincinnati, Coherent, Epilog, Synrad, Universal and similar lasers, these direct field-replacement optics are comparable to the originals.
The laser lenses, in-stock for overnight shipment, are offered in ½- to 1-in. outer diameter sizes with 1- to 12-in. focal lengths and are antireflection-coated with dual-band coatings available to aid in system alignment. The mirrors are ½ to 10 in. thick and made from silicon, copper and molybdenum for use in dirty environments.
