The Grabner Auto Color full-range spectrometer from Petrolab Co. is designed for automatic color analysis of mineral oils, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and other liquids in the lab or field. It also is suitable for water analysis and for testing raw materials and final products in the food and cosmetics industries. The portable device displays results in terms of CIE values, spectral data or user-defined scales. Analysis is provided according to color scales such as ASTM, Saybolt, Pt-Co/Hazen/APHA and Gardner. The instrument has a holographic grating and a 256-pixel linear array detector.
