The model S7505, surface-mountable, three-color sensor, is constructed with three narrowband filters mounted on a single-chip, four-element detector. Produced by Hamamatsu Corp., the device is designed to provide distinct color separation for red, green and blue, making it suitable as a monitor diode for color printers, as a tool for color recognition in measuring instruments and for color analysis of television screens. Dark current is 10 pA. Sensitivity is 0.23 A/W at 460 nm for the blue filter, 0.28 A/W at 530 nm for the green and 0.45 A/W at 660 nm for the red.
