The DXC-190 is a 1/2-in. one-CCD color video camera made by Sony Electronics Inc. The sensor uses the company's Exwave HAD technology to provide f/8 at 2000-lx sensitivity with low smear. The camera has 768 x 494 effective pixels with a horizontal resolution of 470 TV lines and a 50-dB signal-to-noise ratio. It is suitable for high-end surveillance, sports and point-of-view shooting, photo identification and general microscopy, as well as for industrial applications such as semiconductor wafer inspection.
