The In-Sight 1000C from Cognex Corp. is a low-cost machine vision sensor that sorts and verifies parts by color. The device includes installed vision software tools for color image processing and analysis, and a vision spreadsheet interface for application setup without programming.
The hardware, software and communications are integrated in a self-contained package, which can be combined with other automation tools via Ethernet, DeviceNet, ModBus and Profibus communications. The device has applications in the automotive, pharmaceutical, food and beverage, and electronics industries.
