Del-Tron Precision Inc. has announced the Posi-Drive line of stages with a height of 1.25 in. and a width of 1.38 in. The stages provide a straight-line accuracy per inch of travel of 0.0001 in. and repeatability of 0.0001 in. They feature a 0.125-in.-diameter leadscrew, an antibacklash nut and a flexible zero backlash coupling that accepts a Nema 14 motor. The devices have a load-carrying capacity of up to 40 lb and are available in travel lengths ranging from 1 to 4 in.
