Solvent-free conformal coatings available from Dymax Corp. are matched with processing systems that minimize deposition and curing time. When the coatings are dispensed precisely and cured with 180° exposure UV light systems, the need for secondary curing is virtually eliminated. The 984-LVUF is a faster-curing version of the 984-LVF conformal coating; the flexible 9-20557 coating adheres to solder masks; the 9-20558 can be used to coat flex circuits and to encapsulate for sharp solder points; and the 9-984B is a black, opaque coating for concealing sensitive components and circuitry.
