The NI LabView Control Design Toolkit 2.0 from National Instruments features interactive assistants that provide a drag-and-drop, configuration-based environment for plant modeling and control system design. The software includes graphical tools such as root-locus and Bode plots that can be used to design systems such as adaptive cruise control or high-precision machines. The kit can be used with the CompactRIO embedded system, a small and durable platform based on FPGA technology, as well as with real-time PXI targets for hardware in-the-loop testing applications requiring high-speed computation.
