Ocean Optics Inc. offers a cuvette holder that attaches directly to the company's light sources and, via optical fibers, to its spectrometers. The result is a small-footprint spectrophotometric system for fluorescence and absorbance experiments. Designated the CUV-FL-DA, it holds 1-cm square cuvettes. It features mirrored screw plugs for a stronger fluorescence signal, a collimating lens to collect the light and funnel it to the fiber, and a built-in 6-mm filter slot with two adapters that enable attachment to the light source.
