Quantum Northwest Inc.'s Turret 400 four-position cuvette holder for fluorescence spectrometry uses a Peltier device to provide rapid temperature changes and temperature control from -20 to 100 °C ±0.02 °C. The 90-mm-diameter holder offers variable-speed magnetic stirring for all four cuvettes and a dry gas purge on each of the 12 optical ports to limit condensation at low temperatures. The device is equipped with a full set of optical slits, and an optional serial interface is available for remote computer control.
