YOKNE’AM, Israel, March 19, 2015 — ColorChip transceiverA new optical transceiver from ColorChip is suitable for hyperscale data center, high-performance computer and enterprise applications.

The 100-Gb/s coarse wavelength division multiplexing (CWDM) device, which is based on uncooled directly modulated laser technology, comes in a pluggable quad small-form-factor (QSFP28) package. It operates via a single-mode fiber to implement data center applications over 100-m to 2-km link lengths.
