Zecotek.jpgZecotek Photonics Inc. has unveiled the GFL series CW green fiber lasers, which cover all known wavelengths in the green spectral range that correspond to conventional ion gas (Ar and Kr) and solid-state (particularly, diode-pumped) lasers -- 515, 521, 529, 531 and 532 nm -- as well as to new wavelengths in the 515- to 560-nm range. The compact lasers are manufactured using the company’s technology for the intracavity doubling of unpolarized Yb-doped fiber with linearly polarized green output. They provide beam quality of M2 <1.2, beam pointing stability of <10 μrad and turnkey operation. Water cooling is not required. Application areas include medicine, bioinstrumentation and fundamental research.
