Meller Optics Inc. offers calcium fluoride (CaF2) optics for use as front surface optics in detectors, sensors, spectrometers, instruments and lasers.

Calcium Fluoride OpticsThe optics feature a highly polished surface for long life, operating over a broad transmission range with 90 to 95 percent transmission uncoated. Offered in ¼- to 5-in. diameter sizes, the devices can be supplied as windows, lenses and prisms for a variety of applications from 0.2 to 9 μm.

Custom manufactured for OEM specifications, the optics are available as planoconvex, planoconcave and meniscus lenses with plane, wedged or tapered windows. Prisms can include roof types, 90° reflecting, 60° dispersing, beam splitters and truncated configurations.
