SANTA CLARA, Calif., Aug. 3, 2015 — OmniVision Technologies Inc. has announced the OVM7699 CameraCubeChip and the OV7699 CameraChip, ideal camera solutions for feature phones, mainstream smartphones, notebooks, wearables and Internet-of-Things devices.

The OVM7699 is packaged in the company’s proprietary CameraCubeChip format, making it easy to integrate and economical for slim form-factor designs. The OV7699 is available in a traditional compact chip-scale package.

Both devices utilize the latest 1.75-μm OmniBSI+ pixel architecture to deliver an ideal signal-to-noise ratio, sensitivity, full-well capacity and distortion correction. They also capture high-quality VGA resolution images and video at 30 fps.
