WATERLOO, Ontario, Canada, April 8, 2013 — Teledyne Dalsa, which manufactures digital imaging components for the machine vision market, has expanded its Genie TS camera series with the 2M and 4M monochrome models. Reaching speeds of up to 76 fps in high-definition format with 4-megapixel resolution, the cameras are suitable for a wide range of inspection applications.

All features are compatible with proprietary advanced software tools or GigE Vision-compliant third-party software. Transmitting data over standard CAT-5e and CAT-6 cables to distances of up to 100 m, the devices allow for a greater distance between the camera and inspection system. They are designed to perform in extreme environments in temperatures from −20 to 60 °C.

The company says that the camera offers easy integration, reliable data transmission and flexibility.
