LYON, France, June 30, 2014 — The Caspian M12 from Varioptic is a wide-angle lens with autofocus capabilities.

With an effective focal length of 2.6 mm, the lens offers a 160° field of view. Featuring a liquid lens and compatible with 1/2.5-in. sensors, the lens offers motionless focusing.

This lens is suited for applications where image quality, focusing speed and industrial-grade robustness are necessary, such as industrial endoscopy, medical imaging and security.
