Ensuring efficient use of time-lapse experiments and microscopy hardware, cellSens imaging software from Olympus is available in version 1.12, providing use of a Graphical Experiment Manager (GEM) interface.

Enabling setup of complex acquisition sequences and protocols, the GEM presents seamless control of motorized hardware for advanced live cell imaging applications. The interface maximizes the efficiency of multicolor z-stacking experiments and prioritizes the use of fast devices to allow piezometric z-axis modules to reach high imaging speeds.

CellSens 1.12 users can directly react to changes in sample behavior when running a real-time analysis and can choose the sequence of motorization movements.
