WALTHAM, Mass., May 20, 2020 — Channel ScopeThe IPLEX NX working channel scope from Olympus Corp. features six internal retrieval tools to expand videoscope capability.

With similar functionality as a standard videoscope insertion tube, the channel scope is a useful backup while offering versatility in the detect and removal of foreign object debris (FOD). When an aircraft, for instance, is on the ground due to FOD, speed and efficiency are critical for completing inspections promptly to get the asset back in service. The IPLEX NX working channel scope allows inspectors to locate and remove debris quickly.

With comfort and ergonomics, inspectors can focus on their work. For easy viewing, the videoscope’s touchscreen detaches from the main unit, enabling inspectors to change position as needed. An optional remote puts the videoscope controls in a handheld, lightweight unit.
