SAN JOSE, Calif., Oct. 6, 2015 — Chip-On-Board LED ArrayThe Luxeon CoB 1216 chip-on-board LED array from Lumileds Holding BV provides 40 percent greater flux than existing devices in an identical mechanical footprint.

In addition to high lumen output and efficiency, the Luxeon CoB 1216 provides the beam uniformity and ease of design required for streetlights and high bay fixtures, allowing replacement of 100- through 150-W high-intensity discharge lamps. The device features a 23-mm light-emitting surface in a standard 28 × 28-mm package, allowing manufacturers to quickly get their luminaires to market.

The device is offered in a range of color temperatures from 2200 to 5700 K, and color rendering indices of 70, 80 and 90.
