Chip-on-Board LEDsThe LUXEON CoB Core Range of chip-on-board LEDs from Lumileds features 5 percent greater efficacy than the nearest competitors.

Efficacy exceeds 130 lm/W in 90 CRI and >170 lm/W in 70 CRI, which is largely the result of phosphor development and engineering coupled with precise process and manufacturing controls.

Lumileds also improved the thermal resistance of the boards by 25 percent, further reducing the burden on heat sinks and shrinking the size of optics at the system level. The result is high fixture efficacy and smaller fixtures.
