CAMARILLO, Calif., Oct. 23, 2018 — Circular PhotodetectorsAXUV20A Circular Photodetectors from Opto Diode Corp. are designed for radiation, electron, and photon response in the UV and extreme UV through VIS and NIR wavelength ranges.

The circular devices, with an active area of 5.5 mm in diameter, feature sensitivity to low-energy electrons. The AXUV20A photodiode shunt resistance is 100 mohm, minimum. Reverse breakdown voltage is a minimum of 5 V, and typically 10 V. Other features include capacitance at 4 nF, with a maximum of 10 nF, and a rise time of 2 µsec.

The AXUV series of photodiodes exhibits response to electron energy levels as low as 100 eV.
