Wasatch Photonics Inc. has released the Cobra OCT spectrometer for applications including ophthalmology, dermatology and materials inspection.

The device features volume-phase holographic gratings and custom optics and electronics for OCT imaging, while a USB 3.0 interface improves accessibility.

Featuring pixel heights of 200 and 500 µm, with optional 2048- and 4096-pixel arrays, the device provides acquisition rates of 40 and 80 KHz.
