StockerYale Inc. has added the Cobra Slim to its Cobra linescan illuminators product family.
Ten times brighter than the company’s standard Cobra, the slim model includes optical, thermal, electronic and mechanical improvements in a modular concept to address linescan and web inspection from 100 mm to several meters.
It features a slim, thermal design insensitive to orientation, adjustable focal length and working distance, and a higher chip density with improved alignment. It also offers replaceable diffusers configurable for different applications, advanced chip-on-board technology, flexible interface options including Ethernet, and wavelengths from UV to visible and IR.
