Thorlabs' new RASP series of Portable Coded-Aperture Raman Spectrometers for detecting low-intensity Raman signals in either the fingerprint (500 – 1800 cm-1) or high-frequency (2600 – 3700 cm-1) region. These systems have a large sampling area (Ø1.5 mm), offer room temperature operation, and provide a high signal-to-noise ratio (700:1). They are ideal for identification of unknown substances, analysis of chemical composition, quality control, or periodic monitoring of chemical processes at production sites.
