SAXONBURG, Pa., July 12, 2019 — High-power collimated laser bars and semi-framed stacks for direct-diode and diode-pumped solid-state lasers from II-VI Inc. offer cost-effective modular assemblies to users.

Fully automated optical alignment processes and a proprietary hard solder technology withstand high-power pulsed operation and enable a variety of micro-optics such as collimator lenses and volume Bragg gratings.

Applications include materials processing, biomedicine, and defense, due to their compact form factor, high-power short-pulsed operation, and availability over a broad range of wavelengths from the NIR to UV.
