Richardson Electronics has introduced Image Systems’ high bright color LCD series for medical imaging. Available in two versions, the FP2202CHBP offers 2 megapixels, a contrast ratio of 500:1 and 1200 × 1600 standard resolution, and the FP2080CHBP offers 3 megapixels, a contrast ratio of 600:1 and standard resolution of 2048 × 1536. Both displays have a typical peak brightness of 600 cd/m2, 24-bit true color and power consumption of less than 75 W.
