WALTHAM, Mass., Oct. 13, 2016 — Color Microscope CameraThe LC30 entry-level color microscope camera from Olympus Corp. delivers performance for bright-field applications and digital documentation in both life and materials sciences.

The device mounts quickly to any light microscope with a C-mount adaptor. A sensitive CMOS chip delivers excellent resolution and a high frame rate enables users to navigate samples quickly and focus precisely on areas of interest. The camera’s sensitive CMOS sensor delivers up to 37 fps, creating fully detailed images ideal for documentation and accurate measurements.

Olympus color correction uses precisely calibrated International Color Consortium profiles for optimal color reproduction. The technology works in real time to deliver excellent color fidelity exactly at the time of image capture, without requiring any time-consuming processing afterward.
