Measurement System

Enabling the measurement of 300-mm-diameter optics, a system from 4D Technology has been designed around a standard, 100-mm aperture AccuFiz interferometer for large afocal optics and large-diameter curved surfaces.

The suite of 300-mm components includes a compact 100- to 300-mm beam expander that can be used in a horizontal or look-down measurement configuration. Kinematic mounting and a visible coarse alignment laser quickly positions the reference and test optics for rapid test setup. Mounts provide highly repeatable tip, tilt and rotation control, while precise adjustments enable three-flat testing for high-accuracy measurement.

Although optimized for the AccuFiz, the system can be adapted for any 100-mm-aperture interferometer.
