PLANO, Texas, March 10, 2023 — Ribbon Communications’ Apollo OT9408 platform is a next generation compact modular transport platform designed to enable both capacity-reach optimized and cost-power optimized solutions that can function alongside each other. In addition to its 1.2 T wavelengths for shorthaul, the platform delivers 800 G wavelengths that cover the entire metro-regional space, and 400 G for ultralong haul submarine. Based on 5-mm 140-Gbaud pluggable transceivers, it also supports 19.2 T density in a 2RU form factor.
