The DCP-R-34D-CS from Smartoptics is a compact reconfigurable optical add/drop multiplexer (ROADM) for larger fiber optic networks. Taking up a single rack unit and consuming less than 100 W of power per direction, the ROADM provides broad interoperability and wavelength selective switch technology for flexibly managing next generation disaggregated networks. The DCP-R-D34-CS’s ports are equipped with flex grid support and enable cross-connect and add-drop functionality in the local node.
