Surface Inspection

Facebook Twitter LinkedIn Email Comments
The ConfoPort CPO-LV-SD measuring system from confovis GmbH provides noncontact quality inspection of the surface integrity of optical lenses down to the nanometer range.

The system measures and analyzes the height, depth, width, radii and angles of lenses to generate 3-D analyses, even of reflective surfaces. It checks for scratches, particles and inclusions on lenses to determine their quality and subsequent use, allowing classification of the lenses by fault.

The five-axis positioning unit allows the optical surface to be swiveled and rotated. The system can be equipped with extra-long-working-distance objectives, and a transmitted-light function for 2-D observation also is available.
