SIDNEY, N.Y., Aug. 1, 2017 — Connection SystemThe Amphe-PD Connection System is an enhanced connector series from Amphenol Industrial Products Group that distributes high direct current power in a compact design.

Designed to connect wire-to-wire, wire-to-board and busbar terminations, the Amphe-PD series distributes higher currents with less heat than similar-sized connectors on the market. Ideal for use in data center equipment, robotics and industrial automation, the Amphe-PD series connectors are available in busbar mount, right angle and vertical surface-mount technology-compatible printed circuit board mount offering wire terminations ranging from 12 to 4 AWG.

The Amphe-PD features RADSOK technology for high amperage, lower t-rise, less resistance and lower mating forces. The RADSOK terminal features a stamped hyperbolic contact with multiple beams for optimal current carrying performance. This technology allows for more power in a smaller footprint.
