Connector InspectorThe 3D PinInspector from EVT Eye Vision Technology GmbH allows for the 3D inspection of connectors.

The PinInspector contains specially adapted EyeVision 3D machine vision software with a ready-made inspection-program-kit; the EyeScan AT 3D lasertriangulation sensor; a compact industrial PC; and a linear axis.

The system can measure the pin tip and detect if the connector pins are straight, bent, stuck too deeply into the housing, or sticking too far out of the housing.
