HUDSON, N.H., March 26, 2007 -- Laser Components IG Inc., a provider of optical and optoelectronic components and modules, LaserComponents.jpgannounced it is expanding its product range of conversion screens with a new model suitable for high-power ultraviolet (UV) lasers.

With the help of the LDT-300B and LDT-300BG models, UV radiation from 190-390 nm can be made visible. The screens are designed for high power levels, with a damage threshold of >10 kW/cm2 (continuous wave) or >10 J/cm2 (pulsed). Typical applications include working with excimer, gas, and frequency-tripled Nd:YAG lasers.
