Perceptron Inc. has announced the 5-axis COORD3 universal 5-axis coordinate measuring machine (CMM), featuring Renishaw's REVO-2 universal scanning probe, which offers simultaneous control of the motion of 3 CMMs and 2 probe head axes while collecting workpiece data.
It uses laser measurement for precise workpiece measurement at high data-capture rates. Scanning rates of 500 mm/s are achieved.
