HANOVER, Md., April 10, 2013 — Pharad LLC has released an all-optical cosite interference mitigation system that can be directly integrated with a fiber optic radio frequency signal distribution architecture.

The module comprises an active interference cancellation circuit that reduces cosite interference between a collocated transmit and receive antenna. It can be interfaced with the company’s existing line of high-performance fiber optic links that support the transport of RF signals over a wide range of frequency bands.

The device is suitable for wireless backhaul, RF distribution systems for defense platforms and antenna remoting applications where optical fiber is used to create low loss connections between antennas and transmitting/receiving hardware.
