BioscienceTools.jpgBioscience Tools has released a chamber for replaceable round glass coverslips for use in high-resolution live imaging. With an outside diameter of 35 mm, the microscope accessory consists of two metal parts to facilitate heat transfer. A snap-in silicone O-ring seals the coverslip and sample within the chamber to form a leak-proof dish. The thin bottom part has a recessed profile to fit round coverslips of customer-specified diameter. Included O-rings allow the use of coverslips in various thicknesses. The device fits to heated stages and incubators and can be used for imaging, fluorescence and recording. A microscope adapter may be required.
