DURHAM, N.C., March 24, 2014 — The XLamp XB-H from Cree is the brightest discrete LED in the company’s high-density class of LEDs.

The device delivers more than 500 lumens at 1.5 A and 25 ºC in a 2.45-mm2 package, and delivers long L70 lifetimes at both high temperature and current.

Available in color temperatures ranging from 2700 to 8300 K and with CRI options of 70, 80, 85 and 90, the XLamp XB-H LED is binned at 700 mA and 85 °C, and delivers up to 499 lumens at 5 W, 85 °C.
