National Instruments has unveiled the high-speed NI 6115 data acquisition device for PXI/CompactPCI. It features four differential 12-bit analog input channels, each able to simultaneously sample at a rate of 10 megasamples per second. Two analog output channels can sustain waveform generation up to 2.5 megasamples per second. The multifunction NI 6115 device can correlate operations combining analog input and output, timed digital I/O and counter/timer functions. The tool enables users to record highbandwidth signals, as well as to analyze high-frequency characteristics or transients within analog or digital waveforms. It comes with NI-DAQa 6.9 driver software.
