The C6990 and C6991 multichannel detector heads from Hamamatsu Corp. are designed to operate the company's InGaAs linear image sensors in the near-IR region. When combined with these sensors, the detector heads enable precision multichannel spectrophotometry, and they also are suited for radiation thermometers, nondestructive inspection equipment and optical fiber transmission measurement. They provide temperature regulation of ±0.1 °C and are supplied with a low-noise driver-amplifier circuit and temperature controller.
