Allied Vision Technologies.jpgAllied Vision Technologies GmbH has expanded its Guppy digital camera range with models that have sensors to provide a link between analog-only interlaced technologies and digital FireWire interfaces to ease the transition from analog to digital signal transmission. The transition to a digital interface can be performed without any changes made to sensors, lenses or software. The cameras are available with 0.25-, 0.29-, 0.38- or 0.44-megapixel Sony interlaced CCD sensors and are available for black-and-white and color applications. The line also includes two versions with near-IR 1/2-in. sensors. The cameras are supplied with FirePackage 2.6 software.
