The HLU100F400-808 fiber-coupled diode laser delivers 100 W of optical power from a 400-µm fiber. Manufacturer Limo GmbH says the laser's 0.22 NA yields a beam source for robust industry applications in research and development. Other applications include pumping solid-state lasers, plastics welding and soldering. The cooling system uses either tap water or Peltier cooling; there is no microchannel cooling. The laser head incorporates micro-optics and measures 120 x 215 x 60 mm for integration into systems.
