DIODE LASERS The Lepton IV series TE-cooled, turnkey, diffraction-limited diode lasers introduced by Micro Laser Systems Inc. operate from 375 to 1550 nm at power levels from 3 to 150 mW. Output is a 4-mm circular Gaussian beam, with optional beam diameters of 2 and 6 mm available. Power stability over 24 h is <1% for most models, and 2% for the UV to blue models. Aspect ratio is >90%, beam divergence is <0.7 mrad full angle, and polarization ratio is >100:1. Adapter plates and rings enable mounting onto optical tables, translation and tiltstages, and gimbal and optical mounts.
