Now available in up to 6000 W from a 1500-µm-diameter fiber, with an NA of 0.2, the lasers offer high reliability and a long lifetime. The company says that operating costs are more than a factor of two lower than those for lamp-pumped Nd:YAG lasers with the same output power. Teleservice and stack management allow the user to continue production, even if a component fails.
