Lumina Power has launched the LDQCW series diode laser drivers for OEM applications. Available in 50-, 250- and 600-W models, the devices operate at pulses of up to 200 A with rise/fall times less than 25 μs. A low-loss zero voltage switching inverter and planar magnetics facilitate the device’s size of less than 11 in. Minimum losses across the output pulsing circuit and a leakage current of less than 250 μA ensure maximum efficiency. With flexible configurability, the drivers can meet requirements up to 100 V.
