The ClearSpectrum-TDCM from TeraXion Inc. is a tunable dispersion-compensation module for dense wavelength division multiplexing systems. It enables colorless dispersion tuning at each receiver in 40-Gb/s transmission links or simultaneous dispersion trimming of DWDM channels. The fully integrated optical module is based on proprietary multichannel fiber Bragg grating technology. Standard digital communication interfaces accurately control the dispersion level. The device provides positive and negative tuning over a wide dispersion tuning range.
