Artemis Optical Ltd. has launched its Deimos DLC (diamondlike carbon) line of coatings. Fully compliant with all applicable environmental standards and salt fog-qualified to more than 90 days, they offer a wide range of substrate materials to ensure optimum system performance. Maximum diameter is 420 mm, and the coatings are available in medium- and long-wavelength IR versions. Customers include manufacturers of thermal imaging cameras and systems for use in a variety of applications, including tumor detection.
